PRE-ORDERS

We know getting first dibs on the styles you love instead of waiting for them to be restocked is a big deal - which is why we introduced our pre-orders feature earlier this year! You guys have loved it so far and we couldn't be happier! If you are new to the whole "PRE-ORDER" thing, no worries - we will walk you through how it works and what to expect!

What does "PRE-ORDER" mean?

A pre-order signifies that we have a style on the way to us. It is limited in stock with an accurate amount, we just place pre-orders up prior to the actual arrival to give you a chance to snag it first before it hits our floor and sells out!

Am I charged at the time of purchase?

Yes, in order to allocate a pre-order style to you - you must pay for it at the time of purchase.

How do  I know if an item is for pre-order?

An item that is for pre-order will state it in the title. For example: "Champagne Kisses Sequin Mini Dress PRE-ORDER Will Ship January 15th"

Are the shipment dates accurate?

The shipment dates for our pre-order styles are estimated based on the information provided to us by our suppliers. They may vary dependent on many factors and are just an estimation. Due to the high volume of pre-orders we receive in, we are unable to contact every customer if there is a delay in shipment of their item.

Don't worry, we are usually pretty good at our pre-order estimations, but there are instances that are beyond our control (IE our supplier had a manufacturing issue, there are shipment delays due to weather, we received in a high order volume and it has taken additional time to process them all) - we promise your order has not been forgotten and that we are working our best to get your order shipped and to you as soon as we can!

I no longer want to wait for my pre-order - what can I do?

We understand that things change, and you may no longer need your pre-order. If your pre-order has not shipped out yet, you are eligible for a refund to the original payment method. If your order has shipped out, you will be able to return it for store credit. You can contact returns@southernalternative.com for more information.
